What is Aberdeen Sports Council?

Aberdeen Sports Council is an Independent Sports Body within the City of Aberdeen, dealing with a complexity of local sporting matters.

The Executive Committee of the Aberdeen Sports Council are all volunteers who are involved in a wide range of sports within their own rights.

The Executive Committee is elected each January, but any Sports oriented person who wishes to serve on this Voluntary Committee should contact the Sports Council Office on 07866 910 865 or e-mail info@aberdeensportscouncil.com

Annual General Meeting 2012

The Aberdeen Sports Council Annual General Meeting was held on 30th January 2012 and a good representation of Member Clubs were in attendance. 
The following were elected as the Executive Committee –

Chairman - Bill Berry M.B.E.

Vice Chairman - Dave McDonald

Secretary / Treasurer - Katie Barnett

Executive Committee Members - Arthur Beattie, Iain Duncan, Malcolm Ewen, Ian Latta, Neil Paterson, Colin Philips.
Our Thanks and Best Wishes go to Cllr John Stewart for all his help, as he heads to Manchester to take up a new job.
