Sporting Hall of Fame Grand Dinner

Nominations are being sought for the third intake of Sportsmen and Sportswomen into the Aberdeen Sporting Hall of Fame from Member Clubs and Members of the Public.

We have already inducted 21 Athletes who were native Aberdonians and also a Special Award to the Gothenburg Dons ( Information and Photos below ).  In our 25th Anniversary year, we are seeking those who have served the City through Sport but were not born in the City.     As you will see, we have a number of Nominations already submitted.

To celebrate the Aberdeen Sporting Hall of Fame Inductees, a Grand Dinner is being held at the Aberdeen Exhibition & Conference Centre on Friday 12th November from 7.30 pm.

Corporate Tables of 8 will include at least one Hall of Famer and cost £ 600.00.  Individual Tickets for this prestigious Black Tie Dinner will cost £ 60.00.

There will be a Sporting Memorabilia Auction, and Grand Raffle……( Donations gratefully accepted ).

One of the main Criteria for the Initial Nominations for the Aberdeen Sporting Hall of Fame, was for Nominees to be Aberdeen Born.    The Hall of Fame will be enlarged during the Aberdeen Sports Council’s 25^th Anniversary, in 2010 and already there are the following Nominations.
